Known issues ==================================================================== 1. Log file does not contain the pattern update event. 2. The software cannot scan for or detect infected files in expansion devices (CF, MMC, and SD). It is therefore unable to delete viruses in these devices. 3. PC-cillin for Palm cannot scan Sony Clie devices with Memory stick expansion kits. 4. In some cases, and for unknown reasons, a fatal error occurs when users exchange the scan.prc (main program) file via Infrared transmission. 5. Pattern file palm$812.pdb in the release version can detect three types of viruses: PALM_LIBERTY.A, PALM_VAPOR.A, and PALM_PHAGE.A 6. Certain third party programs or versions of the Palm OS may cause the Real-time Scan or Manual Scan icons to appear in the [Unfiled] category, instead of [Utilities]. 7. Before deleting the Real-time Scan program, disable the Real-time Scan function. Otherwise, an error may occur, requiring you to reset the PDA. 8. PC-cillin for Palm OS Version 2.0 cannot detect viruses in files as they are beamed. 9. To view infected files detected by Real-time Scan, you must have the Manual Scan program installed to refer to the Virus Log file. Trend Micro recommends that you install both programs during installation. 10. Neither Manual nor Real-time Scan can detect viruses in ZIP files. 11. If the available memory drops below the required amount (200 KB), Real-Time and/or Manual Scan fatal errors occur. Should this happen, free memory by deleting Virus Logs and other unnecessary files, then retry the virus scan. IV.
